Summer Share CSA

Clear Brook Farm is now accepting membership for our 2010 Summer Share CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program!

By pre-purchasing a summer share you help Clear Brook Farm with spring startup costs including, seed, labor, fuel, and soils. By purchasing this share you are also helping a family farm to: provide local employment to over 20 employees, promote local agriculture and reduce emissions, provide local organic produce to the community, and support the access of healthy food to low income members of our community. How It Works:

While most CSA's give you a preselected box of produce once a week (similar to our Winter CSA), our Summer Share program is a "free choice" share which allows you the freedom and flexibility to visit our farm stand any time you choose and purchase anything we sell at the farm stand during the season, be it plants, Clear Brook Farm organic produce, local cheese or organic milk, baked goods, fruit, syrup, or anything else you choose. We will have a "gift card" at the counter with your name and balance on it (including your discount); each purchase it will be deducted from your balance.

Help Support Food for Low Income Families:

With every 15 full shares purchased, Clear Brook Farm is donating a $225 share to a local needy family. Through a Northeast Organic Farmers Association's program, we will provide a share to a family in our community that can be used to purchase produce or vegetable starts.
